Remember the old Nick at Nite in the 1990s when it didn't make fans irate? I am looking for a web site or any fans with a good memory of a Nick at Nite lineup from 1991-1995. (I remember it had shows like Mister Ed, Mork and Mindy, Get Smart, and the Mary Tyler Moore show at one point). I really miss those days. They should have stayed with classic shows instead of changing to an all-new format that leaves fans infuriated and confused. I can see why so many understandably angry fans are leaving Nick at Nite.

Don't forget N@N also had "The Lucy Show" during that time (early 90's). I too sure miss the olden days of Nick at Nite up and til the summer of 2000. The one line-up that I remember the most from the early 90's is:
8:00- "I Dream of Jeannie" 8:30- "Bewitched" 9:00- "I Love Lucy" (uncut version) 9:30- "The Bob Newhart Show" 10&10:30- "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" 11:00- "The Dick Van Dyke Show" 11:30- "Get Smart" 12:00- "Dragnet" 12:30- "The Lucy Show" Nick at Nite Overnight (1am-6am): "Mork and Mindy", "Alfred Hitchcock Presents", "The Adventures of Superman", "The F Troop", Repeats. Anyone remember this line-up as well? I rarely watch Nick at Nite anymore. I don't find it that much entertaining now unlike the past. I wish Nick at Nite kept the older shows instead of the newer ones. Nick at Nite doesn't feel the same as it used to be. It has really gone downhill since the passed year. Anyone feel the same? |

How about Nick@Nites line up from their debut summer ( July 1985 )...
8:00PM Dennis the Menace 8:30PM Donna Reed 9:00PM The Nick@Nite Movie 11:00PM Route 66 They also aired a show called Turkey Television but I forgot what time they aired it but on tape I got a promo for it. gotta start somewhere. Watching the tape from the week they went on the air, does anybody recall how Nick@Night went on the air? A scene ( done in cartoon form ) of a bus with the characters of Donna Reed & Dennis on it with the words "Camp Nickelodeon". Also does anybody remember a show Nick aired in its "prime time" line-up at 8pm ( I believe ) before they went of the air for A&E at 9 ( at least they did on my cable system in 85 )called "Livewire". It was a talk show for teens hosted by some blond guy whose name I have long since forgot. It was on back when NIck was commerical free. I Remember when REM did that show. VH-1 aired a clip on their before they were rock stars show ,not too long ago of REM when they did Livewire. |

Dudley: Well, I went out for football, but I got my finger stepped on, so my mother made me quit. Eddie: Well listen-- I went out for basketball and I got my hair pulled, and my mother made ME quit. Dudley: It's not that I was afraid of getting hurt or anything; it's just that-- well, it's kind o' hard to play the flute with a busted finger. I miss the old days I'd guess around 1989 when i was in 7th grade, I used to watch America 2 nite, Dobie Gillis, and the Patty Duke show. I think Dobie was on at 1 and Patty Duke was on afterwards. I miss those days.

I think NAN has gotten better, now they have Cheers, which is a great show. I miss Lucy Saturdays though, with two I Love Lucy episodes followed by a Lucy Desi Comedy Hour, they should still do that.

The best Lucy Saturday was 1 ep of I Love Lucy, 1 ep of Lucy Show, and 1 ep of Lucy Desi Comedy Hour.

In addition to the great shows that were mentioned, I enjoyed the corny gimmicks. My life hasn't been the same without Better Living Through Television and How to be Swell. I've been Nick free for several months now. There isn't enough variety and too many double takes.

This is what I remember back from early 1987
Weeknites 8:00 The Donna Reed Show 8:30 Mr. Ed 9:00 My Three Sons 9:30 Ann Southern Show/Susie 10:00pm route 66 (I think) 11:00 I Spy 12-4 repeated 8-12 schedule 4:00am Nick at Nite Movie Fall 1987 8:00pm Make Room for Daddy 8:30pm Mr Ed 9:00pm My Three Sons 9:30pm Donna Reed Show 10:00pm Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In 10:30pm The Monkees 11:00pm Ann Southern Show/Susie 11:30pm I Spy 12:30am Make Room for Daddy 1:00am Mr Ed 1:30am Donna Reed Show 1:30pm Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In 2:00am The Monkees 2:30am Ann Southern Show/Susie 3:00am I Spy 4:00am Nick at Nite movie Oh and for the record, the message board member from West Virgnia is correct about the A & E network cutting off Nickelodeon after 8:00pm I would be seeing these promos for Nick at Nite and the the Donna Reed show would start and the A & E would cut in. most of the cable companies at that time(including mine) were doubling up the 2 networks since Nick only went up to 8:00pm My Dad's cable company was different from mine when I was younger so I would have to go to his house if I wanted to wacth Mr. Ed. Also during the summer of 1986, Nickelodeon aired in the afternoon : 1:00 The Donna Reed Show 1:30 My Three Sons 2:00 Mr. Ed Man, I was about 8 years old, but remember this schedule. |

Ive only had Nick At Nite since 1995 but It really stinks today and was MUCH MUCH better years ago, I think they made a mistake by adding Cheers and Family Ties they just dont seem right on N@N! They should be on TBS the Superstation or somethin! Go back to the OLD GREAT Schedule N@N PLEASE!!!
