Apologies if this was already posted, the Facebook page says it just went up. It's a pretty wild schedule:
http://antennatv.tv/wp-content/uploa...-East-West.pdf My own interests: they've pretty much wiped out early mornings. Doogie, Sabrina, and Mork won't cut it. Sunday's okay with Gidget and the Partridges. The Friday primetime schedule with One Day at a Time, Barney Miller, Maude and Good Times wrapped around Carson is strange. They should have found a more prominent spot for Good Morning, World." I haven't seen it for years, but it was a much more worthy show that My Mother the Car or It's About Time. |

The good: The Patty Duke Show has an excellent time slot. For me it will have $25,000 Pyramid as a lead-in. Wings at 11PM is much better than an hour later. The Joey Bishop Show has a watchable time, and My Two Dads I'll probably be able to see some. Sabrina and The Addams Family got upgrades on weekends. Bewitched and Jeannie get primetime slots back. The bad: I won't be able to see Good Morning World at all at that time. Family Ties cut to one hour a week, maybe it will be aired more when Growing Pains comes to pair with. Barney Miller at 9:00 is great, I just wish that were every weeknight. Newhart seems forever stuck at 1:00AM. Putting Mr. Belvedere on weekdays is a waste at 4AM, give it an afternoon slot.

What a strange schedule. Lots of variety though. I like that.

First of all, I'm shocked that B&W shows are so prominent on the schedule. I assumed they were DOA when the new shows came on. Instead, a lot of the newcomers get odd slots while Patty Duke and Burns and Allen actually improve their timeslots.
Secondly, doesn't it seem odd that Carson's getting cut and moved back already? Antenna spends months promoting them (and from what I've heard spent quite a bit of money for rights) and then they do this. |

Sad to see Newhart still buried in the very early morning hours.
Also unfortunate that Green Acres is an hour earlier in the morning. At least it's getting a weekend showing, which I've been waiting for. In general the weekday schedule looks okay. |

Also good to see "Hazel" on at 12-1pm weekdays. That's a great time.

I'll tune in to see Joey Bishop Show, Good Morning World, What's Happening, and the 1970's Johnny Carson shows. The rest of the schedule contains some shows I already have on DVD and some shows that I'm not interested to see.

they're moving WINGS to 11 and 11:30 on weeknights, goo. Now I'll be able to see it; I couldn't previously because my local affiliate reruns the 10:00 news from midnight to 1:00.
As for the rest of the prime-time schedule; that's looking good. I'm a little surprised though that they're keeping ALL IN THE FAMILY because that's been seen on numerous stations for YEARS. |
