Thumbs down Dumb editing in 'Insominia' episode

Well, N@N has done it again. I had been waiting a long time to see Alex's insomnia episode, which N@N played last night. I was so disappointed when they edited out one of my favorite lines from that episode. It was one of the scenes where Alex was lying in his bed and unable to sleep. The line went something like this: "OK.... I'm going ..... I'm going .... I'm gone .... (looks like he is sleeping) ................................ (suddenly opens his eyes) ... I'm back."

Like I said, N@N cut out that line! Does anybody else remember this line from the original airing? Better yet, does anybody have this episode UNEDITED for trade or something? I'm sure we could work something out. Thanks!

Thumbs up insomnia rules!

I remember that yes. It reminds me of the BTTF scene where he is waking up and we don't know if it was all a dream or not.

But here is the line i like best from the insomnia episode.

Alex mlooks into the mirror in the hall way when everyone is asleep...and yells....!!

"WHAT HAS BECOME OF ME!!!??"

And they all run into the hall.

I do have the episode in its original uncut version (its total length was 24 minutes, excluding commercials).

I only have it in PAL VHS format though - But if you can play PAL, I'd be happy to make a copy for you. Feel free to e-mail me.

Wow! Wait, you mean to tell me that this was originally an hour-long episode?? Are you sure that is was the 'insomnia' episode? I am just blown away that N@N would actually take an hour-long episode and edit it down to a half-hour! That's insane, even for N@N. Why couldn't they have just made it a 2-parter? Anyway, I really appreciate the offer, but I can't play PAL format. If I can find somebody to do a conversion without a lot of hassle, I will definitely be in touch. Thanks again for your help and offer!

How Do You Sleep? (#87) - the 'Insomnia' episode was certainly a half hour episode. There is some confusion here I think..

Sorry, I mixed up this post with another thread regarding My Name is Alex.

"How Do You Sleep" was 24 minutes in its full version, excluding commercials.

I still have the full episode though, if you can play PAL.

If you're still wondering, you can find the episode online.
