This sounds almost too good to be true. I have a sinking feeling that even if this is legit, it will end up being the SpikeTV Dennis Farina rehash version which would be an unconscionable travesty. I fervently hope I am wrong about that.

yes, it's legit. just hope it's going to be on netflix not hulu (because i don't have hulu)

I'm glad this includes worldwide digital distribution rights. I'm Canadian, and we don't have Hulu, but this deals it should end up on one of our streaming services like Netflix Canada or CraveTV.

Wow, this is incredible news...I am in shock! The news sites are pushing most of the images with Robert Stack, so I am hoping that it's the original versions...which I don't see why not. I had a feeling this would happen, as it's a perfect time for CM to cash-in on the nostalgia factor, with the likes of all the recent sitcom remakes as of late for nostalgia reasons as well. I, for one, cannot wait to start streaming this all day long while I work (assuming it's the original.) Thanks for posting!

Episodes of the Dennis Farina UM are already streaming on Amazon Prime. Filmrise CEO Danny Fisher says he expect more platforms to stream both the Robert Stack and Dennis Farina UM's in the upcoming months.

makes no sense for them to stream both since they are the same cases. I advise not to get your hopes up and assume it is going to be the newer Farina version

I just looked on amazon and they do have the 2 seasons of the farina version already streaming. The good news is, they have it set-up as episodes...so that would be a good way to do it if the Stack versions hit. I think, from his email saying they can stream both, that they will stream the stack versions as well, as that is what everyone remembers from their childhood, and will obviously lead to more views.
