I'm thinking about resigning from my job! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

This week was the straw that broke the camel's back! I have had it of being ****ed-over at my own church, I'm their best custodian they have though I'm not as good as expected. My boss chewed me out because his boss, our new pastor, wasn't happy the way the church is.

My church is urban...my pastor is suburban, my boss is suburban... I act VERY urban! If they fire me, then **** 'em! I'll burn that bridge from the church and go elsewhere! But even without a job lead... I may still plan on resigning this Christmas!

End the worst year ever on a low note!

Mr Cleveland, it seems to me that you are making a important decision on
second-hand information. Talk directly to the new pastor and find out just
what he is unhappy about. Maybe you can meet his expectations but if not
try not to quit before you have another job. Mr Cleveland, this has been a difficult year for you, things have happened
that only time will help. Now with the holidays, maybe you're more easily
agitated, frustrated and depressed. Just be aware of how you're reacting
to things, right now.

Thanks for the advice...I'll see how this week goes, my boss shouldn't get worried about small things. When he saw decorations on a table where we have food, he asked "how can people serve food"? Well...it worked!

I feel 2017 will be just as tough if not...more so...
