I Love the 80s!

Does anyone remember "Carol and Friends?" It was on in the late 80s (I believe) and had Carol Burnett, Terry Kiser, Richard Kind and a couple of ladies. It was on NBC and was a sketch show. It was very similar to her old one, but it didn't last too long. I'd love to see it again...

I think it ran for two seasons.

I think it was "Carol and Company", and it was more like a comedy anthology than a sketch show (there was only one half-hour story per show). She did open the show with questions from the audience, to the accompaniment of her old theme.
From what I remember, it was pretty well received, and got decent ratings, but Carol felt that the format was too much work. She decided to go back to her old one-hour variety format, and when NBC passed on the idea, she took it to CBS, where it lasted about 10 weeks. |

I remember Carol & Company. I remember one sketch in particular that featured Frank Bonner a.k.a. Herb from WKRP In Cincinati.
