Default Did anyone check out Target's TV Show DVD Set Sale today?

After checking out Walmart I went to Target and I found some awesome TV Show DVD Sets and I can honestly say they had a lot of TV show DVD sets for $4. I found NCIS and New Girl and a whole bunch of other TV show DVD sets. Target also had cartoon DVDs for sale too and they had Scooby Doo and Spongebob Squarepants DVDs but I didn't buy any TV Show Sets but Target's sale was great

With streaming, YouTube etc. DVDs are SLOWLY becoming obsolete. I ALMOST never by DVDs anymore--between Antenna, other non-premium channels, and the Library there is so much FREE stuff I've bought maybe 1-2 DVDs a year for the past four years. But I bought ALOTbefore then - I have about 12 64-capacity wallets.

There's a part of me that wants to kick myself for all the $ I spent-but not really though - at the time DVDs were such a huge step up from videocassettes.

This bring said, there is something special about owning your fav shows-and DVDs have gone way down in price (for the most part).

^I refuse to stream because I'm a collector and I like to actually be able to touch my media.

However, I don't bother with DVD sales because the only DVDs I don't have (that I want) will never be seen at a discounted price in Walmart, Target, etc...like Barnaby Jones, Carol Burnett Lost episodes collection, Father Knows Best, or The Colbys.

I really miss the huge, huge DVD stores, such as Second Spin & DVD Planet with tons of selection. Even my local fye store really decreased their DVDs.

I used to have those stores in my area & they closed up. I guess Walmart is the next best thing...a little better than Target to me, becaue Walmart seems to have those straight to DVD movies you never know about until you see it in Walmart.

Plus, the TV show set I want, they didn't make it past season 1. Grrr!
