The assassination of President Kennedy.

I remember that day so well! I was in 8th grade Math class when the announcement came over the P. A. system. We were stunned!
I was glued to the tv for 4 days. So sad
Here are some memorable images from those 4 days in November.

Learned what had happened to President Kennedy from my favorite teacher of all-time. I can still see the look on Mr. Stieler's face as he walked into 8th grade History class.

I remember that day, I was 6 years old and in first grade. I remember our first grade nun was teaching us something when someone from the 8th grade came down and told her something. Then the nun turned and told all of us.

I was about 6 but have no memory of JFK but like you Bonniegirl I do remember Bobby's death. We got the Boston Herald newspaper, and if I remember the paper came twice a day. A morning and evening paper and I saw on the front page Bobby's head and body in lain position and i told my parents, I hope he doesn't die. Sadly Bobby died. I believe I cried. I thought as a little girl, why do people kill.

I didn't forget and I don't think most people have forgotten who killed Bobby! As a little girl, I thought, wow the person who killed him sure has a funny (as in strange/weird ) name! ?

Here's one for the "weird" department. I remember my fourth birthday (August 19, 1963) but I don't remember the Kennedy Assassination.

But one this is for certain, On 11/22/1963

SHT Happened in Dallas Texas!
