Yesterday my Mom and I got new cable boxes for our televisions just in time for Thanksgiving and I would like to ask anyone for some helpful advice?
1. When you are trying to watch any show or sitcom why does the program guide ask if you want to interrupt the current show you are currently watching? Because yesterday when Mom and I were gonna watch Walker Texas Ranger the question popped up and we said yes but it did ask us if we really were gonna watch Walker Texas Ranger and we kept pressing yes. Is this a new feature that Direct TV added to it's new program guide and cable boxes? 2. What's the Autotune feature and how does it work? When Mom and I were trying to reserve shows we wanted to see we couldn't figure out how the Autotune feature worked. Is this a faster way to reserve TV shows and also can you turn the Autotune feature off on your cable box or program guide? Any helpful advice is welcome Bestie |

Hi,
I'm assuming you have a standard DTV DVR. If your DVR does not have enough tuners available to record other shows while you are watching another one, you get the interruption error. Here is a link from DirectV's site on how to set programs to record from your remote. https://support.directv.com/app/answ...ote-control%3F |
