Cliched plots you no longer see - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Up until about 10 or 15 years ago, it seems that writers finally stopped using tired sitcom cliches. What are some tropes you just don't see as much anymore?

-Someone gets hit on the head and gets amnesia
-Someone is temporarily blinded but regains his or her sight within the episode
-A twin character (oftentimes a main cast member, either in drag or a really silly outfit)
-Guy has two dates on the same night
-Someone overhears an innocent tidbit and thinks the character is in trouble or dying
-Character dents or damages someone else's really nice car and tries to hide it

I can't think of a specific plot but I have a broad answer for you :

Silly plots - Common in shows like Bewitched , The Munsters , Gilligan's Island and more
