Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman will be a tough act to follow. I think Adrian Palaki (sp?) has a good likeness (blue eyed brunette) and Gal Gadot may have the grit. Of course, the only picture I have seen of Gal is a sepia tone of her with an apparent attitude problem.
The problem with a lot of WW adaptions is that they put her in a stable of super heros, and that may be doomed to "ho, hum." With all the "reboots," "universes," and all the monkeying with the concept, WW need to go back to the original. Lynda did that better than most. In Lynda's first season, it was WW v. the Nazis. She did not need to compete with Superman, Batman, or any other figurative hero. The Nazis were able to gas her, chloroform her, or in some other way to bag her, and there can be a good story within an episode or movie. |
