Her Legacy Lives On

One network that I have gotten into the habit of watching quite a bit on lately is Familynet. My two favorite shows that they syndicate on that channel are "Facts of Life" and "Silver Spoons". If they were to show syndicated episodes of "Gimme a Break!" on that network, I wonder how much success it would have. In any event, less than a week ago, I started a thread on this page called "Goodbye Dear Hazel". This thread was in regards to the recent passing of actress Hazel Shermet. I was always very fond of the hotsy totsy exterior that her characters possessed. Well, in addition to making three appearances on "Gimme a Break!", she also appeared on "Facts of Life" twice. I would say that the personality of the two people that she played on that show were very similar to the personality of the three women who she played on "Gimme a Break!". Well, yesterday evening, I watched an hour of that show and one of the episode was from the second season and it was called "Shoplifting". In this episode, she played a saleslady in a department store. In between the time that I wrote about her on this site and the time that I saw that episode yesterday, I started a thread about her on the "Facts of Life" page. I called this thread, "Very Little Recognition". The same female poster who responded to my post about her here replied to my thread there. Later in this sitting, I plan on heading over there and telling my buddies about having seen that episode. However, there is one more post that I want to make on this page first.
