Kiefer Sutherland Shares his Thoughts on the Jack Bauer-less "24: Legacy"
Kiefer Sutherland Shares his Thoughts on the Jack Bauer-less "24: Legacy"
by Tim Surette Oct 26, 2016 When the "24" franchise returns to Fox next year with "24: Legacy", it will do so without its poster child Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland), the operative who made "Dammit!" a national war cry in the war on terror. Instead, the new action series will focus on a new character (played by Corey Hawkins), a war vet who finds himself a marked man and works with the CTU to stop terror attacks on U.S. soil. So how does the original Jack Bauer feel about this? "Right now my job on the new '24' is to give some ideas to Howard Gordon. I think they've done an incredible job casting it. The first couple of episodes are fantastic. I've always believed very strongly that the star of 24 was the idea, so I'm very interested to see what they end up making. I hope that people give it a chance and I'll be one of the first in line to watch it." http://www.tvguide.com/news/kiefer-s...uer-24-legacy/ |
