Default What do you do during commericals?

I go to the bathroom or kitchen or if it's between 5-6:00 I go down and get my mail.

The only live TV I watch is local news in the morning before work. Everything else is on DVR, fast forward through them. And if it's a prime time show there's a good chance it has Autohop and skips the commercials completely.

If I don't have anything else to do then I usually try to find a channel that isn't on a commercial break until the show that I was originally watching comes back on.

When I used to watch TV a lot, I just watch the commercials. Then I found them annoying, so I muted every time there's an ad that I find tedious.

I go to the bathroom, surf the internet, go downstairs and get something to eat, get clothes out of dryer, check another channel, anything so I don't have to watch those stupid commercials! Or just mute it till my show comes back on.

Same with me, especially when there's a playoff game on MLB.

I do that and I've found that when Fox has a commercial CNN always has a commercial, but not the other way around.

Usually if I am watching The Big Bang Theory you could read a Stephen King novel and still have time to make a sandwich. Normally I text someone to say hi
