Default Will, Grace and a Baby

According to the previews, Will asks Grace to have a baby. Do you think this will ruin the show?

Talking

Really? That's the first time I've heard that! I dunno if that will ruin the show, but I'm also not sure whether or not she will. But the creators of this show are so clever, I highly doubt that this will cause the downfall of the series. I cannot even believe I've said "downfall" and this show in the same sentince!

Red face really?

yeah I heard about this the episodes title is A. I. artifical insemination. I hope this doesn't ruin the show. But there are some good shows where baby's came into the picture and didn't ruin the ratings. Like Friends for instance the ratings are even higher since her pregnancy. But why are they having a baby together? Did will meet someone and they want a child? Or next season we could find out this is all a dream?

yes friends ratings have gone up but wait till next year, let's see what happens. i doubt anybody would want to sit through these baby episodes. all that's going to happen is chandler, joey and ross doing the three men and a baby thing. i'm willing to bet there will be an episode where rachel wants to get out and asks them to babysit. also, i bet you we will rarely see the baby. the baby will probably always be sleeping or something. and wouldn't you think it were odd if rachel is sitting at central perk talking up a storm and her baby is at home??? it just changes everything. but if the ratings stay the same, it just means that friends fans are loyal and it's the last season.

but for will and grace, i think he wants to have a kid because he's getting older. maybe it's cause of elliot. i have no idea. but i really do think it's too soon for the show to do something like this. maybe when it's almost over for them like friends, but now it's too soon.

look at fraiser. jane leeves was pregnant and they just said she gained weight because of depression. and julia louise dreyfuss was pregnant twice during seinfeld. could you imagine elaine taking care of a kid. at least the writers on seinfeld made the right choice, but for friends... they should have just done so if jennifer aninston were really pregnant.

i don't know, we'll see how it pans out.

seinfeld premiered in 89 and there was no julia. they retooled the show and brought it back a year later in 90.

julia had a baby in 92 and 97. ummm i can't remember the exact episodes, but look during those seasons and see if she's wearing extra clothes. do you remember the episode where she was trapped by a mattress, she was pregnant during that episode. they did things like that.
