Were the Mosquitoes really good? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

If they'd recorded an actual album, would you have bought it? I know I would have. On a show like Gilligan's Island, you'd expect any rock band to be silly, but the Mosquitoes were really good. Maybe if they had recorded an album, there would have been a few songs by the Honey Bees.

The Mosquitoes were played by The Wellingtons, who sang the theme song in the first season:

Russell Johnson starred in the Twilight Zone episode, "Back There" in which he tried to prevent the assassination of Abe Lincoln. He was drugged by John Wilkes Booth who used the alias Jonathan Wellington.

Just noticed that the Wellingtons were originally called the Lincolns.

Were they good?? they manage to sing and play their instruments without having any guitar cords to plug into their nonexsiting amps that ran off of the nonexisting electricity, now that takes talent.
