Was the addition of Joey a nod for the trend...
...of Differ'nt Strokes and Webster?
I ask because in the GAB ep called "Joey", both Nell and the Chief eventually get custody of Joey Donovan. I will say that was a good ep...it was also one of the few times Chief's daughters turn against their father! |

That was also on the same idea. And the next year after Joey was added to "Gimme a Break!" Andy was added to the "Facts of Life". Very interesting how TV history repeats itself! |
