TV Ray Romano To Guest on "Kevin Can Wait"

Ray Romano To Guest on Kevin James' Comedy "Kevin Can Wait"
by Dan Snierson
9/22/16

Kevin James makes his return to CBS this fall in the new family comedy "Kevin Can Wait", but another famous CBS comedic actor is coming back to the network as well — at least temporarily.

Ray Romano will guest-star on "Kevin Can Wait", EW has learned. The "Everybody Loves Raymond" alum will play a friendly, pushy car salesman named Vic Margolis. Kevin’s son (James DiGiacomo) has made a new best friend whose father is Vic, and Vic is overeager to sell Kevin an overpriced car.

Romano and James have traded punchlines many times before, of course:

Romano appeared in several episodes of James’ previous CBS comedy, "King of Queens", while James popped up as two different characters on Romano’s "Raymond". The pair also co-headlined stand-up shows in Las Vegas.

Romano's appearance will air sometime this fall.

No it's not stupid it's funny. But I might skip that episode because I'm not really a Ray Romano fan. I never really liked Everybody Loves Raymond. But that's mostly because I can't stand Frank and Marie. Some of the worst parents ever.

I can kinda take or leave Ray Romano.

Did anyone see tonight's episode, "Kevin and Donna's Book Club?" It's the first episode (I missed last week's) that I liked. It seemed like an "lite" episode of King of Queens.

BTW, why did they even bother to have two younger children? The son and youngest daughter barely have speaking parts.

I think what bothers me most about this show is the premise - who in the world would leave retirement to take in their daughter's boyfriend?
