Thumbs up The Male Lucy.....

John Ritter was such a talented comic. He's my 2nd favorite after Lucille Ball. I was looking at him today on Three's Company and he was hysterical. His sidekick Larry was funny too. This show was really good.

John Ritter, like Lucille Ball, did a great job with physical comedy. I can see how he can be compared to Lucy. Although, I don't think anyone will ever surpass her.

I don't think anyone can surpass her either. She was the best but, he really tickles me. Lucy even guested on the show because she loved him too. She also thought he was comical.

One of Lucille Ball's favorite shows was Three's Company because it reminded her of the wonderful times she had on her show(s). She loved John Ritter too, in fact, he made a guest appearance of Lucy's last show Life With Lucy in which Lucy had ball.

Default The Male Lucy

John Ritter to me is the male Lucy....he was great at physical comedy. I do agree that Lucy was the best at it though. She was also a lot better at the facial expressions....

John had some pretty funny facial expressions, too!
He was a great physical comedian! I don't think he could do all those pratfalls now, being 20-25 years older!

John Ritter is a very talented person. I luved him as Jack Tripper. He's one of the physical comedy greats, up there with Lucille Ball and Carol Burnett. I think his physical comedy on the showh as helped it stay on TV for so long, in primetime and in reruns.

John Ritter is a very very funny comedian, but I think his humor was a little more on the physical side, much like Leslie Nielson and Jerry Lewis and Tim Conway. I think Don Knotts was a little more like Lucy with his situation style of humor.

Barney Fife and Lucy always seemed to get into trouble.

But this is just my opinion.
