Karli...lil sis...I don't know ANY state that you can get your permit at the age of 13. Unless, that is, you apply for a hardship license. Don't know if they have that up there, but they do here.

I have to go driving with my instructor tommorrow during Drivers Ed.... I'm scared!!! This will be the first time I've been on REALLY busy roads.. I've been on little roads but not big heavy traffic ones. Let's just hope I dont wreck.

Yea, I kinda thought it would be since Illinois and Indiana are sister states. Good Luck Jeff! And I hated taking the bus to school too! I only rode the bus for a year and a 1/2, because my high school was so far. But I took the public city bus *shudders* than the happy yellow school bus. The wheels on the bus go round and round Our buses always smelled and there were only people under 15 or over 65. But now I drive to school everyday, and I love it. Like Homer said in the Simpsons - "When you drive, you get to choose the music you listen to" Wise, Wise advice because without music in the car, I can't srive, unless I have someone in the car to talk to. But DO NOT turn the radio on during the test. You'll get sooo many points marked off. TRUST ME! I didn't, but that's just one of those things you'll need to know.

Hehe, and I got that right, Keightee!

In MA, you can get your permit at 16, license at 16.5, and then there are all of these other rules like you can't drive anyone but siblings for six months after you get your license and you can't drive after midnight if you are under 18 or something. I dunno. A while back I heard that if you weren't a certain age by a certain date, you'd have to wait until you're 18 to get your license, but I haven't heard anymore. lol I dunno.
