Has anyone else seen "My Hero" (currently running in LA on KODC Fridays)? I think it's a real hoot.

I don't like it at all.
Throughout each show Ardal O'Hanlon has the look of a man who is thinking "My career ends here and now!!!" |

It's Father Dougal Maguire in tights and not half as funny. O'Hanlon should have left this character back with Father Ted where he belongs. Too bad, because he does it so well. Was it a conscious effort to play it that way or is he a one-note comic actor? Any Brits out there who can fill us in?

Yeah, he did have that kind of wide-eyed stare that he used to good effect as Father Maguire. Maybe it was deliberate...maybe he is a very limited actor....difficult to tell.
