Default 110 movies being remade or brought back this year

http://www.denofgeek.com/uk/movies/r...y-in-the-works

I have to say I am kind of angry with the Oceans 11 reboot. The head of the original Rat Pack was NOT a woman, but a man, whos name was Humphrey Bogart

Oh No

It's official...

Hollywood has hit a new low! It seems that remakes are cash-cows!

Soon... they'll remake Casablanca, Citizen Kane, and Gone With The Wind!

I am proud to say that Hollywood will never reboot those movies. If you're anything like me, you will realize that these films are just too good to get remade. They are critically acclaimed, have won many awards, and are timeless. They are one of a kind movies that can't be remade.

I have ZERO support in remakes today!

It wasn't like when they remade The Wizard of OZ and Ben Hur...today, It's more for cash-cow purpose!

I do want to write screenplays before I die, they're mostly original. And this is ONE thing that I'll take to the grave with me...no film of mine that I wrote will ever...and I mean ever...be remade!

I'm looking forward to the new It, the 1990 version was mediocre at best, the only positive was Tim Curry as Pennywise, other wise it was an awful adaptation of King's novel.

Starship Troopers, as fun as the 90's movie is, it barely resembles Heinlein's book. If the new one is actually based on the book then I will look forward to it.

I also don't mind seeing new versions of Dungeons & Dragons, The Green Lantern, Masters Of The Universe: all three of them were awful. Heck, the movie The Gamers: Dorkness Rising was a better Dungeons & Dragons movie and its budget was probably equal to the official Dungeons & Dragons film's catering cost.

Why would anyone be surprised at what people with no talent do?

Gotta agree with all of you. Remakes are usually good enough to line my garbage can. I know they never remade Wizard of Oz, but that movie with James Franco, "Oz The Great and Powerful" really bombed! I think Franco's acting, or lack there of may have had something to do with it. That movie was terrible If they remake Gone with the wind, it will most likely flop. I think they just remade Ben Hur, again, and it will probably flop. People are finally catching on to Hollywood's tricks. And let;s not forget Disney's cash cow. Star Wars EP 7. Studio cashing in on a name, and not caring about the story.
