I recently learned that you are not required to put down wage earning amounts on job applications. Where I work is hiring and the hiring manager is not having any candidate fill out an application. Many ways I am relieved of this new situation. It very well could be law that employer can't ask for earnings. .. One less area on the form to spend time filling out. I disliked filling out job apps. I just go with a cover letter, resume and in my folder a list of references. One place I went years ago, the application was 4 long pages of info I had to fill it. What a drag that was.
