September 2016 re-release of the complete series on DVD - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Universal is re-releasing the series in September, along with another release of Munster, Go Home!, The Munsters' Revenge and the colorized episode of Family Portrait.

I am glad the show is getting some attention, but this one feels a bit like a cop out. No new content, just a different box and I wish they would add some new features. The Marineland Carnival special has recently been discovered, why not restore it and release it for the fans? I know there are hundreds upon hundreds of unreleased production stills, behind the scenes footage and so many other things they could add to a new release.

A blu-ray set would be wonderful. I wonder if Universal will ever go ahead with it.

According to Amazon, this new version doesn't include the two movies like the previous collection set has. Just the episodes, the documentaries, the pilot and the color episode.

No movies. Wow. Plus the box art is ugly.
