Jerry Seinfeld Turned Down Offer to Do Live "Seinfeld" Revival Episode

Has Larry David’s recent decision to bring back "Curb Your Enthusiasm" inspired Jerry Seinfeld to revive his eponymous ’90s sitcom?

The short answer: “No!” — not that there’s anything wrong with that.



In a new interview, the comedian revealed that he has previously turned down an offer to bring back "Seinfeld" for a live episode that would have reunited the self-involved foursome of Jerry, Elaine, George and Kramer.

“We did have an offer — I won’t say who from — to do a new, live episode of Seinfeld on TV,” he told The Hollywood Reporter. When asked if he considered it, his answer was simply “No!”
