Default TNN Skipping episode 104

Episode 104 "The Peacemaker" is not being shown on TNN- they are skipping straight on to episode 105.

The storyline for it is that Willis gets a gun to protect himself when he is involved in the middle of 2 gang feuds.

Trouble also banned this episode.

TNN also say on their web site "tel us what you think of us."

You should E-Mail and tell them exactly what you think of them!

Ahem.

I will now give a nice method by which consumers can contact companies about their products; in this case TNN "Black Bar of Death" Network.

Snail Mail.

This is the Best Way to contact a TV Network IMO.

Let's Do Mini Spectrum Analysis

Here is a quick analysis of E-Mail:

E-Mail is screened by "low level" interns making a Lower Wage on average. A simple delete and Wham! No more E-Mail Particularly for Abuse, Drivel, or Racism. Or another strategy they use, which I've seen people complain about is:

Mary Whats Her Face Syndrone (a girl I used to work with pulled this crap on me when I tried to talk to her on the phone. Applies to E-Mail as well). Here's how it goes:

Person A sends an E-Mail to XYZ company. Now for the moment it DOES make them feel better, so this is an IMMEDIATE benefit. However, if you're expecting an answer from XYZ, it so happens they might forget about you. Then one will say "I E-Mailed/Phoned XYZ and they never called me back".

With Mary whats her face, this occured w/the phone. I'd call her; she wouldn't be there. Half a dozen times at least. Leaving a message w/her Mother didn't help either. You've probably experienced this as well So I Dropped Her. Now w/the TNN or other Businesses (see you can learn something about LIFE that is Living that is Processing Oxygen. Hope this Helps) and Companies:

Either you'll be forgotten about or given a nebulous answer that doesn't accomplish anything (Interns Again!) but to pacify you or make you Go Away! This is called in the vernacular "Customer Steerage".

A typical example is the well meaning soul (s) that E-Mailed EA Sports w/questions, suggestions or comments about their latest video games like FIFA 2002. The PR people probably prepared statements for the E-Mail Interns; something like:

Thank you for purchasing FIFA 2002. (such & such & so forth).

Or in the case of TV Networks:

Thank you for E-Mailing N@N. Bugs are there to Help You the Viewer (actually for advertising & "Branding") to see what network you're watching (a fallacy; people watch Shows in general, Not Networks) and because "Everybody Does It" (If Billy Joe McAlister told you "Everybody" jumps off the Tallehatchie Bridge would you do it!?!).

Amen.

Now I do believe that the FCC does mandate that each E-Mail be filed on record w/the Networks for Viewer comments & such. Can anybody confirm for sure?

Now the Phone Option:

Sometimes this could work if you know the right person to talk to. Businesses set up "Customer Service Centers" for this sort of thing. So you may get quick answers...or you may get a Ditzy Blonde Secretary...who in this case (TNN) could give a crap about your comments. Now same as E-Mail you may strike the 1st Blow (win the battle) but you may lose the war when they screen you out or do the Mary whats her face syndrone I mentioned earlier. MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE YOU TALK TO CORPORATE...Of course going through the chain of command.

However in the case of TNN, it may be better to do the :

Snail Mail (allowing for Anthrax, Act of God, etc to delay your letter)

Write a simple concise letter w/top precision detailing your complaints or comments + (Positive) or - (Negative). In TNN's case I would get after them about the Black Bar, the "bugs", and their habit of skipping episodes of Diff'rent Strokes just because of CENSORSHIP. Remember Friends this is America.

Amen.

So Go Get Em Lads and Remember:

State your comment, complaint, etc in a Clear Matter...and Don't let go! Remember the Mary whats her name Syndrone I mentioned...TV People like to forget about us fans...so We have to remind them.

Amen.

Also make a post to Usenet using Google Groups or other good Newsreader Posting Services. For Usenet is a Permanent Record for All Nations, Tongues, and Kindreds. Go Public My Brothers and Sisters For The Cause! You are a Consumer. And TV Must Keep That In Mind Else Those Ads Become $100000 Coasters!

This concludes Mini Analysis Spectrum (will also be posted to Usenet in rec.arts.tv and other appropriate groups TV related to the general issue of Network Contacting.)

Have a Nice Day.

And of course, I'll get that TNN Mailing Address for you mate.

And TNN's Address:

TNN
1515 Broadway #4228
New York, New York 10036

Phone: (212)846-2566 to talk to the Secretary or Intern.

Pavanbadal Data up above to talk to Management.

Or if you're not the talkative type send a letter To Whom It May Concern.

(to comment on Black Bar).

Tell them that its a technical difficulty that makes you turn off the channel. Just mention that you can't see their Channel because the Problem's Not fixed yet. And tell them specifically what it is:

The Black Bar At The Bottom Of The Screen.

In those Exact Words.

See what happens to The Black Bar Then.

Righteous.

That's how you'll feel in a bit next time you turn it there.

Righteous.

And if Technical Problem Exists:

Repeat.

Amen.
