Sad

This is the one episode of the Honeymooners that I didn't like. It seemed that there were a whole bunch of teens in the audience that night and screamed out during every joke.

That was always one of my favorite episodes growing up because they had some younger characters on for a change, but yeah, that "Steady now" girl was irritating

The episode titled"Unconventional Behavior",where Ralph and Ed board the wrong train and wind up stuck together by a pair of trick handcuffs, sounds like it too had kids in the studio audience.

Back to "Young at Heart" (the rollerrink ep.):

The bands that played at the Sons of Italy Hall were:
Isham Jones, Ted Fiorito, Basil Fomeen, Little Jack Little, Johnny Messner (and his toy piano).

These were all real bands of the old days. There was a guy called Professor Koleslaw who was the toy piano player in Johnny Messner's band.

The teenage girls were screaming in this episode because they were reacting to the appearance of Ronnie Burns, who had become sort of a TV teen idol at the time, famous for being a star on the George Burns and Gracie Allen show.

I agree that the young crowd was very annoying. Remember that part when Ralph comes out in that crazy outfit and Norton is about to teach him how to dance, you can hear some one shout "Don't fall down!" and I believe it was a boy who shouted "Steady....steady now!" That's why the show preferred the mature audience. I can see why!!
