David Anders Returns for "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 — Exclusive

David Anders will return to Storybrooke for one episode in the upcoming sixth season of "Once Upon a Time", EW has learned exclusively.

The "iZombie" star will reprise his role as Dr. Whale, a.k.a Victor Frankenstein, who last appeared in a season 5 episode, where he helped deliver Zelena’s (Rebecca Mader) baby.



“If you’re going to have Jekyll [Hank Harris] and Hyde [Sam Witwer], there has to be a mad scientist convention,” executive producer Edward Kitsis says.

Adds EP Adam Horowitz: “Let’s just say mad scientists stick together.”



"Once Upon a Time" returns Sunday, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
