My kids loved Kraft mac and cheese. When they were little (in the early 70's) Kraft cost 19 cents a box! A can of Campbell's Soup was about 29 cents. The good old days!

Only 1 thing.....spinach. I love it now.
I loved my veggies as a child (and still do)! My mom hated broccoli and Brussels sprouts until I got her to try them when I was little. I guess that's why I'm a vegetarian now. I can't get enough veggies! |

But never Brussels Sprouts in my home growing up.I got into them as an adult too. My Son's for the most part like most vegetables too!

When I was a baby even through my childhood dinnertime was always a struggle for me because there were so many foods I disliked but I had to eat it. Take for instance when I was a baby my mother would always give me peas but I would always throw them on the floor and make a mess and even today I still dislike peas and other vegetables. Then as I grew up my mom would give me beans but I wasn't too crazy about them but now the only beans i'll eat are refried beans. I also have a dislike for pasta and the pasta I most dislike is spaghetti but the only pasta I eat is macaroni and cheese.

Sauerkraut - only with corned beef
tomatoes - only stewed or in soup celery - with ranch dressing onions - cooked, not raw rice - brown or white broccoli - raw or cooked and not drowning in cheese sauce squash - fried, not boiled okra - fried, not boiled shrimp - boiled (preferred) or fried sweet potatoes - baked with nothing added |

When I was youngster a long time ago, I always hated pierogies. Never would even touch one. I decided to try one to see if it was really that good. I tried one and tell the truth, it was pretty good

I didn't like broccoli as a kid, they served it in our grade school lunch and it was like boiled, limp & watery, very gross. Now I like steamed or raw broccoli.
