How do you top a playboy like "Chicago Fire‘s" Severide? Give him a new friend who’s possibly even more wild!

Scott Elrod, who played Meredith’s army doc love interest on "Grey’s Anatomy", has booked a multi-episode arc on Season 5 of the NBC drama as “lifestyle” celebrity Travis Brenner, TVLine has learned.

Elrod’s character is drop-dead gorgeous, with a million Instagram followers to boot. He and Severide cross paths on a fire call, after which the rescue squad lieutenant is tempted to join Brenner’s fast-paced inner circle.

"Chicago Fire" Season 5 premieres Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 10/9c.

He was good on Grey's Anatomy, hope he does well on Chicago Fire.
