Wasn't the purpose of him taking his boss to court was for him to win the case? And who was he going to be embarassed in front of in the courtroom if he allowed Furley to say he was gay? The judge? her lawyer?
It couldn't have been his boss because he wasn't attracted to her no way and Larry and Janet knew he wasn't gay so I didn't understand why he stopped Furley from saying he was gay

I can't remember if he was fighting for his job or for damages/wages lost, etc....either way he should've won to set an example (so she wouldn't do it again). You're right, though, the diner itself was small potatoes.
