Oh No Has this ever happened to you at a buffet?

I don't mean Golden Corral...I mean places that have a buffet.

For my mom's 60th Birthday, we went to Stancatto's. They had a buffet, I got some food, I ordered a cannolli, drank a beer, and then...!

My dad said you ate too much...concluded. I knew I ate more at buffets and I feel bad since the food was good and I made the plans for my mom but I wouldn't mind making those meals at home or go there again.

I never exactly threw up from a buffet. But I have come close to doing so. I don't know about you MrCleaveland, but I have a tendency to eat more than I can handle at a buffet, which often results in my stomach hurting and requires multiple trips to the lavatory. But I have never vomited from it.

I tend to eat food that doesn't go together at buffets because I have to have a little bit of everything.

I went to the Palace Court Buffet at Caesars and had pizza, cajun style shrimp, fried chicken, egg rolls, lasagna, and clam chowder.

That's what I do and it usually results in unusually long bathroom trips.

I never really did the upchuck but after eating Golden Corral steak I did have a case of the bathroom trips. I can eat at my Chinese Buffet all day. I think I had at one time...lol

I vomited as a kid whenever I went out to eat. Guess I just overate. We didn't go to buffets back then at the time, though. All you can eat buffets didn't really seem to get common until the 90s where I lived.

Many, many years ago we were at a buffet at a resort. One of my relatives was taking some food. She had a plate full of food and was standing waiting for the person in front of her to finish taking food at one of the tables. The person in front of her was a very fat woman in a fancy evening gown. When this fat woman finished filling her plate she began to back up. My relative then said to her, "Watch out, I'm standing behind you." The fat woman either didn't hear her or wasn't paying attention. My relative again said, "Watch out!". The fat woman ignored her and backed into her and pushed back as if she was pushing her out of the way. My relative's plate full of food was smashed against the fat woman's gown and stuck there. The fat woman then walked away oblivious as to what happened. I guess she found out sooner or later.

I don't like buffets. I want my meals served fresh and hot.

I once got sick in the parking lot after eating at a Chinese buffet. I didn't eat Chinese food for a really long time after that.

I prefer to avoid all you can eat buffets. Through great discipline, I've learned not to be a glutton. But I find them difficult to handle and only go to one or two a year.

I'm not a good candidate for a buffet!!! I mean I LOVE to eat!! I REALLY LOVE to eat!! But not a lot at once!! I'm more a small portions/nibbler type eater! Only trouble is I eat small portions and nibble A LOT/TOO much of the time !!!

But for me to go to a buffet and get all you can eat,and lots of food at one time really isn't my thing!! So it's a waste of money on someone like me that is happy to eat just one plate at a time!!!

Oh No

I also worked early that morning and it was real humid.

It may have been that I didn't recover from the heat that afternoon.

I also had seafood, that disagree s with many people when it's in buffet style...

I once had too much pasta sallad from a buffet, and then I threw up. It has only happened to me once though.
