bengay Member Occasional Poster Join Date: Jan 27, 2016 Posts: 31	Hi, Billy Mays Here: Remembering a Legendary Pitchman Yes, I'm well aware this is old news, but sad news nonetheless: commercial Pitchman Billy Mays, age 50, died on June 28, 2009 in Tampa, Florida. Per his Wikipedia entry (verified by reputable news organizations e.g. CNN), William Darrell Mays, Jr. was found unresponsive in his Tampa home by his wife of 7 years, Deborah (with whom he had a toddler daughter, now age 10). Billy's cause of death was a Massive Heart Attack, 3 weeks before his 51st Birthday. Born on July 20, 1958 in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, a small town near Pittsburgh, Billy Mays, in addition to his wife and daughter, was survived by an adult son, Billy Mays III, from his first marriage which ended in divorce in 1990.
