"Girl Meets World" Bringing Back Both Morgans for Huge Season 3 Finale

"Girl Meets World" is staging the ultimate Matthews family reunion — and possibly bending the rules of time and space in the process.

Per the writers’ official Twitter account, William Daniels (Mr. Feeny), Anthony Quinn (Mr. Turner), Rider Strong (Shawn), Will Friedle (Eric), William Russ (Alan), Betsy Randle (Amy), Lee Norris (Minkus) and Danny McNulty (Harley) will all appear in the final episode of Season 3 to “help the characters make a decision.”

Oh, and did I mention that both actresses who played Morgan on "Boy Meets World" — Lily Nicksay (Seasons 1–2) and Lindsay Ridgeway (Seasons 3–7) — will join them? I knew I forgot someone.





That’s the good news. The bad news, of course, is that this mass reunion could serve as a collective final bow for all of these characters, as the series’ future beyond Season 3 is still unknown.

And star Rowan Blanchard’s emotional tweet, posted shortly after shooting the finale on Tuesday, is doing little to boost our confidence:

"Re GMW: I know as much as you guys do. Filming tonight's episode was very emotional for all of us, so thank you to all of you who came and stuck with us. The family that we have created on set is something I will never truly forget."

Feast your eyes on a family photo so perfect, you’ll want to frame it and hang it over your living room mantel. (We’re only half-kidding.) Disney Channel on Thursday released an on-set shot from the massive "Boy Meets World" reunion going down on the third season finale of "Girl Meets World".

And the gang’s all there: Joining Ben Savage (Cory) and Danielle Fishel (Topanga) are William Daniels (Mr. Feeny), Anthony Quinn (Mr. Turner), Rider Strong (Shawn), Will Friedle (Eric), William Russ (Alan), Betsy Randle (Amy), Lee Norris (Minkus) and Danny McNulty (Harley).




Heck, GMW even invited both actress who played Morgan — Lily Nicksay (Seasons 1–2) and Lindsay Ridgeway (Seasons 3–7) — for the big event.

And if cast member August Maturo’s recent tweet is any indication, Nicksay and Ridgeway will be taking turns playing Eric and Cory’s little sister.



Per the GMW writers’ official Twitter account, the ghosts of TGIF past return to help Riley make a major decision — and with the future of the sitcom uncertain, it could be the last decision we get to see.

I hope they don't cancel the show. They need to be on 2 or 3 years more to really cement a legacy.

I will most definitely be watching if uncle Josh is going to be shown. To me, the young man who plays him isn't on the TV enough.
