Red face Now THAT'S embarrassing!!!

What was your most embarrassng moment? Mine was when I fell down the stairs at school. I was walking up 4 flights of stairs, and I turned around and my shoe slipped and fell down a whole flight of stairs until the wall broke my fall. I was so embarrassed because everyone was going up and they all saw me! I felt like such an idiot.

Ok, well one of them was this past summer. I was in Old Navy with my older cousin who's like in college...yeah anyways she wanted this pair of pants and so I'm like "Ok Brooke, I'll get them". Thet were in the back of the rack...so I reach back into get them, but I fall. I try and get up, but I sink deeper into the rack. I was practically laying in the rack. So she is just standing there laughing, and finally this employee had to help me out. I wanted to die.

Another time was when I was in ECHOS last month. We had to cross a river on this log, and when I was in the middle of it, I fell into the river. Well I went to get up, but I didn't see the beavers dam behind me, and I tripped right over it. I got up and I was covered from head to toe in mud. To make it worse, somehow a branch had gotten caught in my hair. So I had leafs sticking out of my hair. Then everyone whips out their cameras including the teacher with us, and takes a picture of me. Lovely.

I've probably had bunches of embarassing moments but this one stands out in my mind...Some family members & I were going to be on TV because we were going to make a promo for a local station. My aunt was trying to get my uncle to make the promo w/ us & they started arguing so she yells really loud, "YOu never wanna do anything!!!" Like the whole newsteam was there & a bunch of other people & they all turned & stared & looked funny. We got on camara, but me aunt messed up & said the wrong thing & my uncle just mumbled ! I was like I'm gonna kill 'em! Needless to say, our "promo" never made it on TV.

Red face

I can top you all. I was at a family gathering, and sitting at a table with my mother, 2 sisters, my aunt and my cousin. We were all very close.
There was a guest at this gathering. Sue wasn't related and wasn't close to my family. She was related to other guests. We'd just see her at weddings and wakes, that sort of thing. We hadn't seen her in a few years, and her weight had really ballooned--I mean she must have gained at least 50 pounds.
I left the table for a bit, and when I returned. I said to my family, "Gee, Sue's really packed it on. I can't believe how big she got."
My mother, sisters, aunt and cousin didn't answer me, and I couldn't figure out why. I remember my sister had this look of horror on her face--actually everyone did.
Then I realized that, in my absence, Sue had taken a seat at the table, and I just didn't notice it when I sat down. We were drinking a little.
I was mortified, and just said, "I'm so sorry Sue. I didn't realize you were here."
This happened over 15 years ago, and still bothers me to this day. I was young, stupid, and I learned a valuable lesson in sensitivity that day.

One time I was at this guy I used to like's house and Jackie was like "Oh, come on, just dive in" cos I wasn't good at diving and I didn't want to embarass myself, but I did and my top flew up! His older brother saw me but he didn't say anything and I was soooooo embarassed.

Another time, I was at Jackie's b-day party and Danielle was being soooooo annoying, so I leaned in to a group of my friends and I went "Danielle is being an-" and then I realized she was there!! And she goes "You were gonna say something about me" and I went "No, I meant the other Danielle" it was embarassing

well i've had a few...

last year my last teacher would let us out late and everything so one day i started running and everyone was going slow and i was like "ugh..." so i went through the grass/dirt area not realizing there was mud. i was running and boom...slipped so hard. no one even helped me get up. omg...and then to make matters worse my best friend saw it and wouldn't stop laughing.

then a couple of months ago me and my friend (the same person in the above story) were like "let's race each other down the stairs" and so we were going right..lol....it's making me laugh already...and i lost my balance and like fell and rolled down like 6 of the steps...luckily no one was there but us...thank god.

umm....i think that's it.

OMG! I don't know why, but I can not stop laughing at that story. When you said you sank in tht rack, I just picture you sinking in quicksand with everyone loking at you! OMG, I can't type this without thinking about your story and burst out laughing.

Sorry

Ok, I got another one for ya'll. I was at play practice one night, and I came upon a word that I didn't know how to pronounce. Well, the word said "s'long" meant so long. Well I was thinking to myself I don't want to look like an idot and say it wrong so I said it a way that I thought was right. Well, so much for that idea. I went ahead and said slong, not as in so long, but shlong. OMG, I could hear everyone busting up and laughing and I felt like dying right then and there. One person even said to get my mind out of the gutter. OMG some people still haunt me to this day about that.

It was a hot day ( about 102* ) and I was supposed to walk all over the parking lot, thoughout the store and even visit the other stores in the shopping center. I knew I would be sweating quite a bit so my co-worker says to me why dontI just get into the frog suit nude as nobody will see me.
Foolishly I took the advice.

I was walking in the Food Lion ( which was very very busy )and I noticed that I was feeling cool. I thought maybe the advice of me being nude inside the suit was good.

Then suddenly I felt this hand on my bare butt. It was an old woman ( about 70 or so )
" ..honey....you have way too much hair on that butt. If you are trying to turn me on..well it aint working babe". Then she started to laugh, as well as just about everyone at Food Lion.

Most of the back side of the frog suit had came undone and for 30 minutes I was walking around semi-nude and I didnt even know it.

Never been back to that Food Lion !!

I found this is an old post, but just wanted to post it here. She's not here anymore, but I just dies laughing at this one too.

uhm..well when i first began bowling...u know how u throw the ball back first, right? well instead of it going down the lane, it flung out of my hand the oppposite way on the approach....

well this isn't my embarrassing moment but my dads: we were doing a cosmic bowl....music lights blah blah, so ok he's going up to bowl, right? i look away for like 3 sec. and look back. he's not there...i look closer and he's on the floor!!!! his body is halfway past the foul (sp???) line....and meanwhile he gets a strike!!!!!
