I'm watching this episode on Logo...and I notice that after Bentley leaves and the Willises arrive, there's no laughter or audience reaction to what the cast is saying. It disappeared and reappeared and disappeared again.

Maybe this episode wasn't filmed in front of a studio audience, and they used this version (sans canned laughter) in syndication?

I noticed the same thing when I saw the episode on FamilyNet. I remember rushing to my computer to see if the episode was on YouTube and if it was the same way and the episode on YouTube had the studio audience present all along. I'm guessing that it's normal on the DVD too?

I will find out on Tuesday at 9:30pm. That's when the Jeffersons Move Up episode is scheduled to on Antenna TV
