In case you are wondering, I am talking about the short Color sketches from the late 60s and the "Incredible World Of Ed Norton." (I know. What a shock. Hahaha!)
I called up Jackie Gleason's daughter (Geraldine Chutuk) and I asked about them. She said that CBS has the rights to air them. I called CBS and they said that they don't have them. When I told Geraldine that CBS doesn't have them, she said that she doesn't know who does. I than called up Paul Brownstein Productions and left a message regarding the short sketches. No one called me back. I got told by T-Greg that Paul Brownstein HAD the rights to the Color Honeymooners and ASM for decades but since no network wanted them, he may have given them up. I am wondering right now, who does have the rights to these sketches and who in particular has them? They certainly can't be in the public domain. |

It makes no sense that anyone other than the Gleason estate would have the rights at this point. They licensed a clip from a non-Honeymooners episode from the 60s to MPI for a George Carlin release years ago, so they don't just own the 42 hour-longs.
