Default Favorite album(s) by Aerosmith?

This poll contains ALL of their work. It includes 15 studio albums, 6 compilation albums, 5 live albums, 2 box sets and 2 EPs. Only albums with original music are included. A few budget compilation albums are not included.

NOTE: This poll is multiple choice. However, once you have placed your vote, it cannot be undone.

Here's a list of all the songs from each album I chose that are favorites of mine:

"Dream On" (from Aerosmith, 1973)

"Same Old Song and Dance", "Train Kept A-Rollin'" (from Get Your Wings, 1974)

"Toys in the Attic", "Walk This Way", "Sweet Emotion" (from Toys in the Attic, 1975)

"Back in the Saddle" (from Rocks, 1976)

"Come Together" (from Greatest Hits, 1980)

"Darkness" (from Done with Mirrors, 1985)

"Rag Doll", "Angel", "Dude (Looks Like a Lady)" (from Permanent Vacation, 1987)

"Janie's Got a Gun", "Love in an Elevator", "What It Takes", "The Other Side" (from Pump, 1989)

"Eat the Rich", "Amazing", "Cryin'", "Crazy", "Livin' on the Edge", "Shut Up and Dance" (from Get a Grip, 1993)

"Deuces Are Wild" (from Big Ones, 1994)

"Falling in Love (Is Hard on the Knees)", "Hole in My Soul", "Nine Lives", "Pink", "Taste of India", "Ain't That a Bitch", "Full Circle" (from Nine Lives, 1997)

"I Don't Want to Miss a Thing", "What Kind of Love Are You On" (from the soundtrack of Armageddon, 1998)

Cool

If there were two albums by Aerosmith I would love without reservation, they would have to be 'Get Your Wings' and "Rocks'. I love a lot of songs from 'Toys In the Attic', such as the title track and "Sweet Emotion", of course, but I grew up listening to "Walk This Way" in perpetuity in my teens. I considered that song an example of "my older brother's music"--and it wasn't helpful with Steven Tyler's caterwaul in the 1986 remake with Run DMC. By that time, I associated it with endless Coke and wine cooler commercials featuring polar bears in sunglasses with that song in the background. All the time.

For some reason, their 1989 comeback album "Pump" didn't do enough for me, but I understood that because Guns 'N' Roses was doing their sleazy raw 70's sound a bit better. "Pump" just seemed a little too poppy.

I did see Aerosmith on their "Draw the Line" tour in 1978, probably their last major tour that decade before drugs sent them into hiatus for the next several years.

I voted for Toys in the Attic,
but now wished I had voted for a compilation or box set.

I don't really have a favorite Aerosmith album but my favorite song by them is "Angel". I know that wasn't the question but I thought I'd throw the answer out there anyway!

The poll was multiple choice, so you could have picked more than one option. 😕
