The Pontiac Aztec was ugly, but I disagree about the Caprice. Yeah, it's a boat. What was wrong with a roomy car?

And I would rather drive a "boat" than a cramped econobox.

LOL! Aztecs were hideous! I always gave them a wide berth on the road since their drivers obviously didn't make good decisions. The AMC Gremlin had more style than an Aztec.

Back then when the '91 Caprice came out it was really the beginning of cars taking on that "rounded" look. It took me some time to get used to that. And I thought the Caprice was very weird looking!

I prefer the rounded look rather than the boxed look of the 80s.

I agree about that Pontiac being a terrible looking car. All modern cars have 2 things in common, they all look the same and they're all ugly. And by modern I mean around late 90's maybe 2000-present. It doesn't matter if it's a Toyota,a Chevy a Jaguar etc. It's any brand. They've got no style, nothing about them is appealing.

On the other hand, the most beautiful cars ever made are 1950s-mid 1970s American cars.

Some of you may not want to hear this, but I'd rather drive a Pontiac Aztek than a 1996-1999 Ford Taurus, or a 2002-2005 Hyundai Sonata, or a Kia Amanti.

I didn't want to hear that.

A friend of mine , an older lady, bought an Aztec from her son who was shopping for a new car. She loved it and drove it for several years! But she did admit that she thought it was ugly!
