I often wonder why some cases such as this get redone on different shows over the years. Unsolved Mysteries aired this in 1997 and Forensic Files some years later. There's only so many ways to spin a case and somehow people expect a different outcome each time. Unless her killer is back in court over something or we get the news he has died, then I really don't see the point of rehashing Dana's murder case, although if it's to keep Dana in remembrance, then I haven't forgotten about her. Does her family get paid for this? I also wonder sometimes if families are falling on hard times and need to sell their dead loved one's murder story to get financed. Not trying to be mean, just makes you wonder though. Let the woman rest in peace already.
On the other hand, Vick's other alleged victim, Heather Sellars, is still missing, so it's good to put a spotlight on that, but why not just air an episode dedicated to finding her instead? |

I almost typed Dana Ewell out of force of habit. That one's been profiled on just as many shows! |

In this show they made the lady selling cleaning products a white lady, who pulls out a cell phone and calls police after coming face to face with the killer!

Many of these shows are about how a crime gets solved. So they obviously have to use a case that got solved |
