I did know he was from Brooklyn! They must have moved out to Los Angeles shortly after because Helaine was born here in 1952!

Also Harvey and Helaine were both born on April 15! How cool huh?

His boyhood home should still be standing! It should be a a landmark building preserved by the city!

Schoolchildren should be taken there on school field trips! "The birthplace of Michael Lembeck, national shrine"!
