I have having a hard time finding biological info on Kimberly Drummond. I know that she attends Eastland, then later on to public school, but who were her close friends? What were her favorite activities? Did she have any favorite hangouts? I would like to know more.

It's been a while since I've seen any episodes, but I do remember her having a close friend named Michelle and I remember her enjoying ballet and ice skating.

Was Michelle only mentioned? I don't remember ever seeing her. In fact, the only friends of Kimberly's I ever remember seeing were the younger girls from The Facts of Life: Cindy, Natalie, Molly, and Tootie. Blair was sort of a "frienemy", as she and Kimberly didn't get along well in the FOL backdoor pilot "The Girls' School", but Blair did help Kimberly with her makeup in a later DS episode.

Two things regarding Kimberly that still surprise me to this day:
  • In 8 seasons of DS, we never once saw Kimberly's bedroom
  • In 8 seasons of DS, we hardly ever heard a mention of Kimberly's mother---if at all

These two things really mystify me. It's hard to believe that in 8 seasons of the show we spent so much time the boys' bedroom, but never even got one glimpse of Kimberly's. Heck we only saw Mr. Drummond's bedroom maybe once; even his bathroom was seen more times than Kimberly's bedroom, and the bathroom was only in the pilot!lol

And it's also very hard to believe that in 8 seasons where one of the characters was a teenage girl who lost her mother at a young age, there was never a moment of her missing her mother, wishing her mother were around, needing someone like her mother to talk to about teenage girl things, etc....or, for that matter, Mr. Drummond missing his wife, reminiscing about her, etc.

Just amazing.

Michelle was in three episodes (The Boyfriend, Coming Of Age, Ski Weekend). She was played by Dana Kimmell, who also played the final girl in Friday The 13th Part 3.

Thanks, it's been a few years since I watched seasons 3-8 on cable.

Oh wow, and I see from Wikipedia and IMDB she was also on one episode of DS's spinoff The Facts of Life, playing Blair's long-time friend Dina Becker in the season 3 episode "New York, New York". She did a great job of really playing up the stereotype of the spoiled rich girl in that role.

Ah, thanks, I just looked it up on Wikipedia. I thought that was a humanoid plant kissing him (I love humanoid plants, lol), but there's no mention of such plants in the description; maybe it's a dinosaur instead?

It's a man eating plant that takes a liking to Ringo.

Do we know if Willis and/or Arnold know how to ice skate?

The "Family On Ice" episode from season 5 probably answers that question. It's been quite a few years since I've seen the episode, so I don't remember everything about it.
