I just found this on youtube. It's a very old episode of I Remember Mama from the 1940s and 1950s (before my time). You first see a young Dick Van Patten (who played one of the sons Nels) around 15:18. Pretty cool this is on youtube.

Dick Van Patten was so grateful for the role of Nels that he named his first-born son after the character.

I saw a couple of eps of I Remember Mama on You Tube a few years ago. It was fun seeing Dick as a very young man.
