I was listening to music and found a song called Never Gonna Let You Go that was released in 1982 that was sung by Sergio Mendes and written by Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil and when I heard the song I didn't know that Sergio Mendes made music in the 80's because I knew Sergio Mendes was a big star in the 1960's and was known for the beautiful remake of The Beatles song Fool On The Hill
What else can you tell me about Sergio Mendes and what is the history behind the song Never Gonna Let You Go?

It was actually sung by Joe Pizzulo & Leza Miller.

Great and interesting fact Zoneboy. I always wanted to know more about Never Gonna Let You Go and I wonder if Sergio Mendes played any instruments in the song because the song credits mention Sergio Mendes and not Sergio Mendes Featuring Joe Pizzulo and Leza Miller? Never Gonna Let You Go is such an cool ballad by Sergio Mendes and I always love learning facts about 80's music

Sergio is playing piano on the song, Joe Pizzulo and Leza Miller were credited on the single release.
