TV.com is being taken over by TVGuide.com - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

For those who haven't noticed, lately TV.com has been gradually being taken over by TVGuide.com. Many of the features of TV.com such as the podcast have been dropped, the old forums have been completely removed and replaced with the "community" posts and all the articles are TVGuide.com articles. And the worst part is that none of the management has come forth to admit it.

Just like when TV guide took over JTS. I don't go there much anyway. I liked it better when it was TV Tome.

If I didn't mention their previous takeover of "Jump the Shark," I should've known somebody else would mention it. And you don't have to worry about going to that website anymore, because it was obliterated shortly after being acquired.

I missed tvtome.com, then there was tv.com which I really like old archives especially old forums.

I used to contribute a little to tv.com, and also participated in the forums once in a while. Sorry to hear about the takeover.
