Default Wait a minute, ME-TV uses the opening theme for seasons 3 to 11 for

the first two seasons?

Just turned to Happy Days and was shocked as hell when I didn't hear the rock around the clock opening for a season 2 episode. Wonder why?

It depends on the prints. I think some Season 2 episodes they have may be older syndicated prints that do have the original Rock Around the Clock theme. But I know some episodes also come straight from the Season 2 DVD with the Happy Days theme so that's probably what happened here.

Usually they are local versions. But sometimes they come from DVDs. I heard some people said some of the Brady Bunch episodes on MeTV are from DVDs and sped up a little. I also noticed myself that the first 10 or so episodes of Family Ties on Antenna TV are from the DVDs also, then the rest are local syndicated prints.

Now it makes sense. That ep was probably from the dvd which is why I didn't hear RATC. I Was thinking it was a local syndicated copy like the ones I watched in the past.

So now Im curious to know why the hell would they use dvd versions?

Probably the better video quality. As a TV station they likely favor that over what music is replaced. I think they use the remastered Star Trek as well.

I wish the shows would air how they used to air in the 80s and 90s when there were no DVD versions. The DVD versions of shows aggravate me because they dub over the music.

It would be funny if METV used the original 16mm film prints.
