My friend Sam hooked me up with Netflix. I like movies and TV shows from the 30s-70s. Didn't see many old tv shows Andy Griffith, Columbo, Star Trek, Rockford Files and Emergency are all in my favorites list.
I am kind of underwhelmed with Netflix--am I missing anything else? As far as the movies go it is like I have either seen them or dont want to see them. Thank You, David |

Netflix's selection has gotten less and less over the years. We finally dropped DVD shipment, and just do streaming, but even the selection there isn't as good as when they first started it.

We had Netflix for many years, but I just lost interest. I went from being a huge movie buff to not really caring about them at all. Not really sure why this happened.
I remember going off and on with Netflix. They would be great for a while, but then the hot movies would go into wait mode for a long time. I'd get mad and cancel. They would be great again. When Netflix is good, it's real good, but it never lasts. |

I used to have Netflix. They went up on price and their selection of titles isn't as good as it once was. That is just my opinion.

Let me ask, is Netflix worth it? I ask because I like the old shows more than today's shows. Do they have old shows on there?

Yes, we have Netflix; I mostly watch movies, the only tv series that I will watch for now is (Fuller House); maybe I will try to watch other tv series in the near future but, for now; I mainly watch movies.

Mets, if you like older shows then Netflix isn't worth it. Looking at my original list of tv shows I saved most or all of them can be found on METV.

The dvd portion of Netflix has some of the older shows. I'm not sure it's worth it, unless you find enough shows on dvd to make it worth it. I don't think there are too many older tv shows that are on the stream part of Netflix.
