Anyone remember her? She looks like a real life Barbie Doll, and now she's playing a doll come to life in the upcoming horror film: The Doll.
I didn't link the trailer since it contains graphic gore. I am a sucker for doll themed horror movies so I'll probably check it out. From IMDB: Internationally renowned model and internet sensation, VALERIA LUKYANOVA ("The Human Barbie") makes a terrifying and memorable screen debut in this impressive, suspense thriller. When Chris and Andy order a model from an escort service, they find that something is unnaturally wrong with Natasha, something deadly wrong. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5176832/combined ![]()

One of my favorite doll-themed horror movies is Dolls from 1987. Another is Trilogy Of Terror, with the Zuni Fetish doll. For ventriloquist dummies - Dead Of Night (1945), Magic, and Dead Silence. |

let me guess... her bratty brother goes into her room, messes with her stuff and then pops her head off.

Only in the unrated version!Always been a fan of the doll themed horror movies. Maybe this could be fun to watch... or laugh at. She's definitely someone you would look twice at. |

Yeah! This looks cool! I'm in the mood for a really good, new horror movie! I want to be really entertained and scared, lately even though I am entertained and think the movie is good, the newer horror movies lately haven't chilled me to the bone!!! Or on the other flip of the coin, haven't been really corny and campy and showed sex and nudity which is fun if it's not THAT scary! ! Come on movie makers, I want to be SCARED or at least old time 70's-80's camp ! Pick it up guys! !!!

Not saying there aren't any getting released in the theaters (I thought It Follows was excellent, and creepy), but they're few and far between. You have to look at the indie stuff (and foreign releases), the stuff that sometimes gets released in a few select theaters, or even straight to DVD/Blu Ray. There are a lot of very creative horror directors out there, but they're mostly ignored by Hollywood, and when they do get their break, they usually wind up directing forgettable films. Any ways, here's a list of horror films that I think fit both of your criterias (granted we're all scared by different things)...(I'm sticking to 2010 and newer) For creepy/scary/ unsettling: Absentia (2011) Alyce Kills (2011) The Pact (2012) Lovely Molly (2011) The Innkeepers (2011) The Tunnel (2011) Husk (2011) V/H/S (2012) Here Comes The Devil (2012) It Follows (2014) As Above, So Below (2014) The Babadook (2014) Oculus (2014) Starry Eyes (2014) Honeymoon (2014) Last Shift (2014) The Taking of Deborah Logan (2014) The House On Pine Street (2015) We Are Still Here (2015) The Boy (2015; not the doll movie) Campy: Tucker And Dale vs Evil (2010) The Last Lovecraft (2010) 100 Bloody Acres (2012) Zombeavers (2014) Cooties (2014) The Final Girls (2015) Deathgasm (2015) Hatchet Trilogy (Lots of over the top gore!) Okay, not really scary, or campy, but still worth watching: The Shrine (2010) Stake Land (2010) Exit Humanity (2011) Open Grave (2013) Spring (2014) Kristy (2014) Housebound (2014) Wyrmwood (2014) Dark Was The Night (2014) Last Girl Standing (2015) A Christmas Horror Story (2015) Hush (2016) |
