Hi,
I just wanted to say that I found him fascinating! The way he never answered anything directly but the prison question. How you could tell in his mind he was thinking...."Oh you';re playing a game I'll play along". Being a psych major I would love to learn more about him! Anyone know where I can find research on him? Thanks. |

The Bill Ashlock murder was actually a decent sized news item back in the day and there was even a film based on the case entitled "A Death In California" starring Cheryl Ladd. There is also a book of the same name available on the case as penned by John Barthel. I can only surmise that the film was based on the book. |

BTW, the reason you can't find anything about him on Google is because his actual name is G. Daniel Walker, not Wilder. Do a Google search on him and you'll find a couple of old articles about his crazy antics in prison, such as setting up a mail-order scam.
