When you saw Van Halen, did you scream "Eddie s*cks" or sneak back stage to beat him up for stealing your girl ? Concerts I have seen : Doobie Brothers Allman Brothers (had a BLAST at this one) Blue Oyster Cult Willie Nelson ( also had a BLAST at this one) Cheap Trick (again, another I had a really fun time) Grateful Dead (this one was STRANGE) !!! James Taylor (cool time, in a mellow way) Neil Young (same as with JT) Heart More I'm sure, these are all that come to my old brain at the moment!

Majority of these were during my late teens/early 20's.
Alice Cooper (my first concert, put on a fantastic show, he wasn't just about music, it was a whole performance with characters, special effects...) Eleven (they were the opening band for Transvision Vamp, but as we were standing in line we were told that Wendy James, the lead singer of Vamp passed out on the bus. Fortunately Eleven turned out to be really good, and I own their CDs) Concrete Blonde Crash Test Dummies Camper Van Beethoven The Dead Milkmen Ween Social Distortion Sonic Youth Lydia Lunch Snow Bud And The Flower People (Oregon band) In my early 20's I frequented Satyricon in Portland, OR. At that time it was the go to place for the hot alternative/indie bands of the time: Juliana Hatfield when she was touring with The Lemonheads (I know I've told the story before so I won't repeat it, but long story short, Juliana bumped int o me and spilled water on me...) The Muffs Mary's Danish Violent Femmes Tanya Donelly (Solo, and when she was with Throwing Muses) Mudhoney Dharma Bums GWAR Heatmiser (Oregon band) Meat Puppets Nirvana (unfortunately I don't think it was the night Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love met) Mojo Nixon Butthole Surfers L7 Pavement Also frequented La Luna in Portland: The Dandy Warhols (Oregon band) Hitting Birth (Oregon band) Sublime Everclear (probably one of the more successful alternative bands to come from Oregon) Sweaty Nipples (Oregon band) Pond (Oregon band, not to be confused with the Australian band) Hazel (Oregon band) In 1992 I went to Lollapalooza when it was at Portland Meadows: (Below are the ones I remember seeing, I may have seen others, but I spent a lot of time in the beer tent so a lot of it is a blur) Primus Alice In Chains Rage Against The Machine Fishbone Tool Babes In Toyland |

I've seen way too many to list. So far this year I've seen:
Carrie Underwood (for the 3rd time) Bruce Springsteen (for the 5th time) Cyndi Lauper (for the 2nd time) Blue October (not my choice) Dixie Chicks Florence and the Machine Martina McBride (for the 17th time) Boy & Bear (not my choice) Coming up are: Weezer/Panic at the Disco (not my choice) Olivia Newton-John Lindsey Stirling (not my choice) Phillip Phillips (not my choice) Blink 182 (not my choice) Adele Dixie Chicks Elle King (not my choice) Luckily, some of the ones that were not my choice to see end up being kind of decent, lol. |

I was supposed to see Aerosmith in 2009, until Steven Tyler broke his shoulder during a prior concert when he fell off the stage. Whitesnake was down here a few years ago but I didn't fell well enough to go, so I gave my ticket to my mom and brother. Was supposed to see Cher a second time in 2015 until her kidney infection canceled the tour. Janet Jackson postponed her recent tour, so i will have to wait until next year possibly. I didn't stick around long for the John Mellencamp one last year because my stomach was getting sick and I had to go home. Here's a list of the ones I attended:
Def Leppard/Journey (Klipsch Music Center, Noblesville, Indiana, 7/22/06) Def Leppard/Styx/REO Speedwagon (Klipsch Music Center, Noblesville, Indiana, 7/6/07) Mötley Crüe/Sixx A.M./Papa Roach/Trapt/Buckcherry (Klipsch Music Center, Noblesville, Indiana, 7/18/08) KISS/The Envy (Indiana State Fair, Indianapolis, Indiana, 8/9/10) Def Leppard/Heart (Klipsch Music Center, Noblesville, Indiana, 8/12/11), Judas Priest/Black Label Society/Thin Lizzy (Prairie Capitol Convention Center, Springfield, Illinois, 11/9/11) Van Halen/Kool & the Gang (Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, Indiana, 2/22/12), Heart (Horseshoe Casino, Hammond, Indiana, 7/6/12), Iron Maiden/Alice Cooper (Klipsch Music Center, Noblesville, Indiana, 7/19/12), Def Leppard/Poison/Lita Ford (Kilpsch Music Center, Noblesvile, Indiana, 8/24/12) Bon Jovi/The J. Geils Band (Soldier Field, Chicago, Illinois, 7/12/13), Depeche Mode/Bat for Lashes (First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre, Tinley Park, Illinois, 8/24/13) Cher/Pat Benatar (Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, Indiana, 4/11/14), KISS/Def Leppard/The Dead Daisies (Klipsch Music Center, Noblesville, Indiana, 8/22/14), Fleetwood Mac (Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, Indiana, 10/21/14) Bette Midler (United Center, Chicago, Illinois, 6/18/15), John Mellencamp/Carlene Carter (Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, Indiana, 8/4/15) The Cure/The Twilight Sad (UIC Pavilion, Chicago, Illinois, 6/10/16) |
